It has already been reported that Sony TV’s popular daily soap Bade Achhe Lagte Hain would soon be taking a leap. As per the latest update, the character of Pihu which is presently being played by the bubbly Amrita Mukherjee would be replaced by the talented Aanchal Munjal post the leap of 8-9 years.
Amrita has been well liked as Pihu and her presence on Bade Achhe Lagte Hain has helped the show garner even more appreciation. However, she would soon make an exit from the show as such is the demand of the script.
While Aanchal, who currently features in Sony TV’s Parvarrish, hasn’t confirmed the news yet, Amrita’s mother Mrinmoyee Mukherjee, on the other hand, shared that her daughter would be taking a break of at least three to four months after leaving the show. She also shared that Amrita would no longer be accepting the offers to work in daily soaps. However, since she is good at acting, she would be open for movie assignments and even for television projects that require just weekend shoots. Mrinmoyee is glad that Amrita would now be able to devote time to her hobbies and other activities.
Amrita is loved by the entire cast and crew of the show and she too has grown quite attached to them. She is especially fond of Sakshi Tanwar who plays her on-screen mother in the show.
Sources reveal that Amrita has already shot her last scene for the show and Aanchal would be making her entry on Monday, the 12th of August.
