You know how we have shirts which say, “Nobody’s perfect. And I am Nobody.” Well, I find this very, actually very LAME. You know, they even say, “Everybody’s perfect in their own little ways.” Now, this I don’t find lame BUT I do find it a bit NOT TRUE.
Maybe we are perfect, maybe we aren’t, maybe only famous people are perfect, maybe only rich people are perfect, maybe only intelligent people have perfect lives BUT it all is just MAYBE. Ain’t it?
So, maybe here’s a try to work out ways to be perfect, just MAYBE.
And, yes I am jotting this down because like MANY (by which I mean all) people I’ve tried to make myself perfect and I guess I still do. But, if you think you are perfect and too cool to read this or if you think you were born perfect, then you shouldn’t probably read this because you are PERFECT.
Yes, the first step to being perfect is to BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE. If you wake up everyday in the morning and look at yourself in the mirror and say to yourself that you are the perfect thing that ever happened to yourself then you are simply GREAT. I know, this may sound a bit too much dramatic and crazy but then that’s the second step, one must be crazy and dramatic enough to bear all the embarrassment one gets when we try and prove ourselves in front of any group, whether friends or family.
Well, lets take a break from all the psychological talks and understand what is PERFECT?
It means many things to many people. To a studious guy, it might mean proving Einstein’s some theory wrong or to an army guy it may mean dying for his country but to the mass, to the people who are reading this, to the youth, it means much more LESS. Yes, being perfect for us is much less. It means being so popular that you have everyone waving at you when you enter school, having the coolest group, being that group’s leader, having a great image with teacher’s as well, having girls or guys dying to be your facebook friends, having over 100 notifications everyday, being able to drive a car or bike when you’re still a minor and yes, the main point, having the cool quotient. Now, the cool quotient refers to having a style. You do one thing, you wear one thing, you say something and next day it is spread all around you.
THIS IS OUR LITTLE PERFECT WORLD. Oh! Stop being cool, and accept it. It is what everyone wants! So, the third step to being perfect is to change your mind. That little image of perfect life we have in our brains has to be changed. Girls need to get over the fact that getting perfect gowns and guys is perfect life and guys need to get over the fact that having the greatest hairstyle and being a jock is the perfect life.
You, know I just tried to tell you people how to be perfect by following these steps, but what I secretly did was to make you DIFFERENT.
They say NOBODY or EVERYBODY is perfect but I think ANYBODY can be perfect and I don’t think that any of us wants to be “ANYBODY”. So, do yourselves a favor and be DIFFERENT and not perfect because if it was worth it then I won’t be typing this down.
Perfectness is NOT awesomeness or coolness or hotness. It’s foolishness.
Being different isn’t easy, it’s the easiest.
You don’t have to do anything; all you got to do is stop flowing with the wind. Stop following Lady Gaga’s fashion or stop copying Christiano Ronlado. Make your name like they did.
It’s time you people stop being the next somebody and start being the first yourself. ( I copied this line from an ad, so don’t think I am Great. : )
So, by the end you should’ve figured out that the question should be WHY TO BE PERFECT and not HOW.
And if you couldn’t figure this out that you’re too cool.
Just, for the record, I am NOT perfect and I love it.
(And, I don’t worry if you didn’t like it. Because you don’t need to. You don’t need to follow me. You need to be yourself. Isn’t that the main point ? 😉
