Labnol.org, India’s Most Popular Blogging website Ran by Amit Agarwal (India’s First Professional Blogger), has been hacked and all the data has been stolen and deleted from the server. This News may shock all the Bloggers, but Hackers managed to hack into all the websites of Amit Agarwal.

Amit Tweeted On 27th June “Labnol was hacked y’day night.. things look OK now”

Soon he had to face worse day in his blogging carrier as the Hackers Deleted all the content from his Network. Websites Under his Digital Inspiration Network are: labnol.org, blogschool.in, etc.

Top Indian blog Digital Inspiration got hacked and completely deleted. Currently the website is unavailable to any of the users. If any one navigated to the site today it is shown “404 Not Found”.

As it can be assumed right now the recovery of the website has started and hope this would mean more of security this time. As I had always said that “A website hasn’t been hacked because no one tried to hack it”. This surely makes justice in this case where the security was at total compromise.

The chief blogger of the site Amit Agarwal posted this on Twiter gathering up a big conversation on the tweet as well on Facebook.

As I get to see various of the problems or reasons that may have had taken the site to get hacked here are a few things that I noticed and in some of the other sites and may probably be the reasons. Previously I have already come out with many plugins and tweaks that may protect your site but now I’ll come out with some of the reasons that will be in respect to this hacking case.

Right now this is what you can see if you go to the website.

The same is the situation of other blogs on the network that include Blogschool. In

All the websites are showing 404 not found error.

Today on 1st July He tweeted “Difficult times. Hackers have deleted all my websites.”

We are trying to contact Amit for further information.

We hope labnol.org will be back soon.
